About Steve

Having been brought up in London, Steve trained in the South West, working for a local practice for 15 years before moving on to a senior position in one of the country’s leading accountancy and insolvency practices working throughout the country, based mainly in London and the South West. Seeing the benefit of a niche practice dedicated to insolvency Steve started Castle Hill Insolvency in 2018.

As a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, Steve has worked on a broad range of cases from Corporate Recovery and Turnaround to Bankruptcy. Whilst Steve has substantial experience in Terminal Insolvency such as Bankruptcy or Liquidation, his main passion lies in Recovery and Turnaround, which involves rescuing a business from closure, saving jobs and putting that business back on the right track.

Steve has a strong network of professionals such as lawyers, accountants, and IFA’s, Steve has been successful in establishing a reputation for swift pro-active advice, enabling distressed business/persons to make the best decision for the future.

As liaison to a number of local advice agencies, Steve is well placed to provide guidance and advice in all insolvency matters.

Steve prides himself in offering a compassionate, professional, confidential and proactive service to all of my clients, both commercial and private, whatever their circumstances.

Outside of work Steve is a keen sportsman, although mainly limited to golf these days! Steve also has a young family and enjoys spending time with them and travelling.

About Adam

Adam began his insolvency career in 2003 and joined Castle Hill Insolvency in early 2019, seeing the benefits of a practice that specialises in insolvency advice.  Adam is a Director and heads the Corporate Team at Castle Hill.

Having worked in the industry for a number of years, Adam is aware of the requirement to act quickly if you, or your business, are feeling the pressure of debt, and is able to offer advice in both corporate and personal insolvency scenarios, with early advice nearly always maximising the available options.  Adam has a particular interest in procedures that allow for the rescue of a business, or protection of personal assets, and has been able to obtain agreement to complex cases that have required detailed knowledge of the necessary processes. 

Between them, Adam and Steve have a number of contacts that they are able to liaise with if additional support is required, such as funding, specialist legal advice or commercial valuations, to ensure the most appropriate action is taken.

Outside of work Adam is kept busy with a young family and enjoys most sports, mainly as a spectator these days, good food, music and travelling.

About Jody

Jody has worked in the Financial Services sector since 2003 and has been involved in many different areas within this.

She joined Castle Hill Insolvency in 2018, and having worked in personal insolvency for a number of years, she heads up our Voluntary Arrangement team.  Jody passed her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency exams in 2020.

Dealing with complex cases Jody understands that processes need to be completed swiftly to decrease the stress and worries of her clients dealing with creditor contact.

Jody prides herself in having an open, friendly, compassionate and professional approach and believing one of the most important aspects of her role is trust.

Outside of work Jody enjoys spending time with her family, friends and taking her 3 dogs for walks around the Devon coast.

About Nathan

Nathan joined Castle Hill in 2018 after 10 successful years working at a local golf course in a management position. Nathan is an Insolvency Manager who mainly deals with corporate insolvency.  Nathan passed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) examinations in 2019.

He currently lives in Newton Abbot with his wife and 2 dogs. Outside of work Nathan is a very keen golfer and currently has a handicap of +2, and is also an avid football fan.
